Here at Air Talent Online, we believe a change is as good
as the rest. That’s why we always welcome and encourage new
talent. So, you think you can do voice overs? Well, many people do, but
only some “really” can. However, don’t be
disheartened! We want to give you the chance to shine. That’s why
we charge absolutely nothing to host your demo(s), and we take 0%
commission!
(Whether you're union, non-union, a pro, a beginner....etc).
Follow our step-by-step guide to voice overs (more detail below).
Step 1: Purchase a microphone or find a local studio.
Step 2: Use this microphone/studio to make an audio show reel/portfolio.
Step 3: Upload all your details to our site.
Step 4: Sit back and relax. Clients will now find you in our search feature.
Step 1: Ask a professional which microphone is best and you'll get a varied response. There are those who suit deeper voices, those for light females...etc. It's not so much a question of "Which is the best out there?", but more "Which is the best for ME?". We have no affiliates and so will try to help you pick the microphone to match your needs. That includes budget, voice style, technical knowledge. Ask for our advice now via
email. Alternativley, find a studio local to you, with our voice over studio data base.
Step 2: You now need to start creating audio. A great way is to do voluntary work. (More information here - see "How can I get experience?". Alternatively, you can download our sample scripts, which are all royalty free! To download, choose a format:
Edit your audio using the free audio editing suite, Wavepad.

Step 3: You can upload all your details, audio and a picture by going to the voice over upload form, here. Each talent can have up to 5 demos for free and will receive a personal sub site which is your own personal page. The URL (http://www.) of this site can then be given out to people who wish to hear your voice reels without clogging up email systems through file transfer.
Step 4: As soon as you press submit, we receive your profile. We can then either Approve or Deny. This is 99% due to spam and not because we have to check you're extra good! once approved, you will be 'live' and clients will see you in search listings, via the voice over search. If they like what they see, they will contact you via the form on your profile page.
We have had previous problems with spam/scam messages so please stay vigilant and if a deal sounds too good to be true, it possibly is. Report all concerns or spam attacks to the support team via
